Prince Harry Honours Victoria Cross and George Cross Recipients

Prince Harry today attended the remembrance and re-dedication ceremony for the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association at St. Martins-in-the-field Church in London.

The prince, who was representing his father Prince Charles, away on a four-day visit to Colombia, attended a special church service with the twenty-three current members of the association, including former Chief Superintendent Jim Beaton, GC, CVO, who was awarded the George Cross after being shot three times protecting Harry's aunt Princess Anne during an attempted abduction in 1974.

After the service Prince Harry joined association members for an official reception at St. James's Palace.

  1. Wow, Harry is such a handsome guy, I hope he finds someone special soon and is able to start the family he has always hoped for. Too bad my daughter isn't interested as I wouldn't mind being in-laws with the royal family.

  3. I have always been a big fan of Harry. He has really stepped up to the plate in recent years and taken on a lot of Royal duties. Even with a full time job he manages to make time to shoulder some of the load. He is a real winner. I too hope he finds someone special and settles down, so we can all see pictures of little gingers!
