The reception was held to mark the couple's trip to Canada next week and was organised with the Canadian ambassador to Denmark. The trip promises to be an exciting one for the couple; one which will see them promote Danish business and champion causes close to their hearts including bullying.
Mary chose a blue print Hugo Boss dress she's had since at least 2010. It's a great item to pull out for an outing such as a palace reception.
Made from silk chiffon with a soft blurred pale blue blossom print, it has a fit and flare shape with delicate ruched detail on the side and a high neckline.
Today, Mary attended a gala at Ny Carlsberg Glypoteket in Copenhagen and chose another beautiful navy blue dress.
A look inside the gala.
This striking garment is another repeat for the Princess. The Erdem Cecile Dauphine floral-print dress comes in electrifying pink and blue hues, which accent the navy base of the ladylike dress.
Mary is not the only royal to have fallen in love with the Canadian designer's dress. Famously the Duchess of Cambridge wore it in navy lace for the royal tour of Canada in 2011.
Two beautiful looks for Mary. Very excited to see the Canada visit next week! :)
