We hope you're all enjoying a relaxing Sunday. It's been a busy week for the royals, particularly in Spain, where King Felipe VI's ascension was marked by a low-key ceremony at the Palace of Zarzeula, located on the outskirts of Madrid. Despite the importance of such a prestigious event it was a decidedly intimate family affair.
The elegant Queen Letizia (who has widely been dubbed the world's most stylish Queen by the media) looked on proudly in a white coat dress by her go-to designer Felipe Varela. Letzia was joined by the couple's two daughters Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia.
A romantic moment for the new King and Queen.
In his address the new King pledged to lead a "renovated monarchy for new times". The Spanish monarchy has endured many scandals and negative headlines recently. One cannot help but feel King Juan Carlos' abdication could not have come at a more opportune time. We wish Felipe and Letizia every success in their new roles and have no doubt they will do a stellar job.
It will be interesting to see if her new role changes Letizia's style at all. If her latest public appearance - a meeting with victims of terrorism - offers any indication, it seems the Queen's smart business style comprising of fitted skirt and pants suits is here to stay. It works well for her and she's always appropriately dressed. I do hope we get more insight into her evening wear choices shortly.
Moving on to another enjoyable topic: royal babies! Prince Félix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg took their two-day-old newborn daughter Princess Amalia home the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg last week. The new parents were beaming with happiness as a casually dressed Claire cradled Amalia in her arms.

All eyes were on Princess Charlene of Monaco on Friday as she stepped out for the opening of the Monaco Yacht Club. The Princess is expecting her first baby (rumoured to be twins) and looked radiant in a floaty white dress.

The baby is expected at the end of this year. Exciting times for the couple, whose marriage has been a subject of intense speculation in the media.

Elsewhere in Monaco, new mother Charlotte Casiraghi also visited the Monaco Yacht Club with her partner Gad Elmaleh.
The always stylish Charlotte looked beautiful in the Gucci beach ball print silk halter dress. The turquoise 100% silk dress featured an open back and pleated skirt. It's currently on sale at the Gucci website reduced from $2,800 to $1,400.
One knows summer is well and truly upon us when shades of yellow, lemon and custard are being worn by style icons, celebrities and royals. Queen Maxima has a fabulous daring sense of style and chose a vibrant yellow colour-block dress for the International Consumer Authority Seminar.
Now on to the royal event of the week in Britain: Royal Ascot. Her Majesty was in her element throughout the week, thoroughly enjoying the racing. Her horse 'Estimate' came a very pleasing second in the Ascot Gold Cup. Estimate came first last year much to The Queen's delight.
It's always a treat to see the York sisters choice of headwear (no pretzel hats for Bea).
The Countess of Wessex in a black Emilia Wickstead dress was well and truly immersing herself in the festivities.
Sophie, who celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with Prince Edward last week, received some terrible news when her race horse Zilber was put down after a freak fall. Apparently the Countess was informed before Trooping the Colour.
Prince Harry attended for the first time.

The royals appeared to have a wonderful time! :)
